Welcome to the website home of Von Smada Kennels. We breed Rottweilers, German Shepherds, and our new found love the 100% Johnson American Bulldog. We are a family run hobby kennel. All our adult Rottweilers, German Shepherds, and Johnson American Bulldogs have sound temperaments, healthy powerful bodies, excellent massive bone structure, working ability, and extremely high intelligence. Our Rotts are German with the big block heads. Our Bullies are 100% Johnson and also have the big bully heads and features. These dogs are calm, trainable, protective, courageous and devoted to their owners and family. Obedience training is essential. Each of these breeds are unique in their own way. The Johnson American Bulldog is unlike any other breed. We strive to follow John D. Johnson (breed founder) and better the breed. These Johnson American Bulldogs are utility dogs that were first used to protect farmers from wild boar. Just the look of a Rottweiler can frighten and intruder away and are very loyal to their owners. The Rottweilers were the dogs brought in by Romans when invading Europe. And the German Shepherd is the world's leading police, guard, and military dog. The German Shepherd is also a loyal family companion, as well as show competitor. This dog is approachable yet fearless. We recommend spaying/neutering. Raising dogs, with the best care can give you many years with your dog. A dog such as a Rottweiler, German Shepherd, or Johnson American Bulldog contribute friendship and loyalty to the relationship he has with you. A large breed dog is a most rewarding and satisfying canine to have around. We are proud to offer excellent working dogs. Large breed dogs who can excel in just about everything from therapy work, search and rescue, tracking, hunting, dock dog competition, obedience trials, agility trials, service, herding, Schutzhund, protection, flyball, carting, weight pull, jumping competition, and of course show in the show ring, to name a few, but the thing they do best is to be your best friend. When looking for a large breed dog for your family we highly recommend you only purchase from reputable breeders.

Our males we use for stud service also offer the highest quality temperament and working ability and pass that on to their puppies. We breed for only the best quality Rottweilers, German Shepherds, Johnson American Bulldogs. Our dogs are primarily family companions with excellent guarding ability instincts. At our kennel we breed only dogs of substance, and excellent temperaments. Our female dogs we use are the basics of our kennel and we seek out the highest quality females. Breeding strong female dogs produces the best type of puppies. We often go to other outside kennels for breedings to stud dogs because we want to bring together the best bloodlines. We breed only for the improvement of the breed as a whole so therefore we are very picky. The results of such matings can be seen in the high quality offspring we've produced. Our puppies have sound minds and bodies.

We do also stud out our males. All of our dogs are dual registered. Some are AKC and CKC while others are NKC and CKC, We do have one that is tri-registerd with NKC, CKC, and ARF.

We follow good breeding ethics and all dogs sold from our kennel receive health guarantees and a lifetime of breeder support. At any time that a purchaser decides he no longer wants a dog purchased from us, we will take the dog back. Puppies from our kennel are well socialized and raised around children and do come inside the home. We breed dogs that can live in any home.
